Cryx goes first.

NOTE :

Now I noticed, that the Cryx has 2x Mercenaries unit in list.
Which is illegal.
Probably my opponent made a mistake when creating the list.

Deployment :

Idrians prey at right Desecrator.

Cryx just ran as far as possible.

My army also ran, but stayed outside of charge ranges.
High Reclaimer created two clouds.
He also cast Hand of Fate on Idrians.
Choir said Passage.

End of 1st round :

Cephalyx Overlords came forward and spray few Flameguards.
Machine Wraiths ran to the zones.
Jacks started shooting at my infantry.

On the right flank, Flameguards and cavalry, took care of enemy models in the zone.
Unfortunately, I had no way to kill Machine Wraith contesting the zone 🙁
On the left flank, Flameguards killed a lot of Bane Warriors.
Gorman’s Acid Bomb also killed few skeletons.
Choir said Passage again.
Jacks ran to the circle zones.

0-0 on the scenario.

End of 2nd round :

Asphyxious came forward, said FEAT + Teleport back.
Resurrected models charged at left Crusader.
My opponent had terrible rolls and Jack survived on 2 or 3 dmg boxes.
Bane Warrior Officers used their mini feat.
Banes charged at my Flameguards.
Because of Flameguard’s Set Defense, many attacks missed.
Machine Wraiths just stayed in their positions.

On the left flank, Flameguards killed as many models as possible.
They also said Shield Wall + mini feat.
Idrians shot few Banes in the middle zone.
Indictor ran deeper into the zone.
On the right flank, I took care of as many models as possible.
Machine Wraiths are impossible to kill, again..

Still 0-0 on the scenario.

End of 3rd round :

My opponent has 6:04 minutes on the clock.
I finished my turn with 6:09 minutes on the clock.
A turn or two later, my opponent has run out of time.

I won the game by deathclock.

A few words after game :

  • Before the game, I thought that Ashes to Ashes and Indictor’s magic sword will be enough.
    I was very wrong..
  • I think I had an advantage in third/fourth round, but..
    In such a broad scenario, I had no way to get rid of Machine Wraiths.
    Because of that, I could not get a single scenario point.
  • I must definitely add more magical weapons to the list.

  1. Rather than just magic weapons perhaps Sanctifiers are the key as not only are they packing one themselves but they can also just shut off incorporeal models so your other pieces can kill them (that’s one of the main reasons I use them) great report again

      I was thinking about this Jack.
      But.. I’m afraid of soul collection.
      Sometimes souls will not go to HR.
      Sanctifier will collect it instead.
      Only this stops me from taking him to the list.
      He would fit perfectly …
      Did you try it ?
