I’m going first.

Deployment :

Idrians prey at right Stormblade Infantry.

High Reclaimer cast Hand of Fate on Idrians.
He also put two clouds.
Severius cast Road to War.
Choir said Passage.
Rest of the army ran forward.

Stryker cast Snipe on Cyclone, Blur on himself and Arcane Shield on left Stormblades.
Cyclone put Covering Fire.
Avenger came a little bit forward and shot towards Idrians, killing two of them.
Rhupert gave Tough to right Stormblades.
They said mini feat.

End of 1st round :

Idrians killed few “preyed” Stormblades.
Two Vengers ran to the Rubble.
Bastion Seneschal ran to the flag.
Choir said Passage again.

Cyclone shot one of the Vengers.
Avenger charged and killed another one.
Stryker came to the safe place and shot at right Crusader to Disrupt him.
He also said FEAT.
Stormblades came to contest the left flag.
They also did a lot of dmg to Bastions and Seneschal.
Lancer stayed in the left zone to score a point.
Unfortunately, no one was able to contest the right zone.

1-1 on the scenario.

End of 2nd round :

High Reclaimer put few clouds + FEAT.
He resurrected three Bastions, two Vengers and 2-3 Idrians.
Bastions took care of two contesting the flag Stormblades.
Seneschal stayed b2b with the flag.
Crusader came to contest the left zone.
On the right flank, I just hid my models behind the clouds.

3-1 on the scenario.

Avenger ran to contest the right zone.
Journeyman ran to the flag to score a point.
Stryker shot at FoS to Disrupt him.
He also cast Earthquake at Bastions (through Lancer) to avoid their Def Strike.
Unfortunately, he missed 🙁
The deviation knocked down his own models – Stormblades.
Lancer and Stormblade Captain did few dmg to left Crusader.

3-2 on the scenario.

End of 3rd round :

Bastions killed few Stormblades.
Idrians chose a new prey – Ol’ Rowdy.
They charged at him dealing a lot of dmg.
He survived on 5-6 dmg boxes.
High Reclaimer cast Hand of Fate on Vengers.
Severius ran to give them +1/+1 aura.
They charged and destroyed Avenger in the zone.
After Reposition, two of them contested the right flag.
Crusader scored a point in the right zone.

4-2 on the scenario.

Cyclone came to Crusader and throw him into Venger.
Venger died.
Journeyman charged at another Venger, but after all possible attacks he survived on 1 hp.
And still contesting the flag.
My opponent was running out of time.
Stryker just charged at left Crusader and finished him.

4-3 on the scenario.

End of 4th round :

Severius cast Immolation at Stryker, dealing few dmg to him.
Choir said Battle.
High Reclaimer cast Hand of Fate on FoS.
Fire of Salvation just charged and killed Stryker.

I won the game by CK.

End of the game :

What does my opponent have to say about the game?

“One more time I stand opposite to Menoth.
For some time I fight with them very often.
After my few loses I learn one or two thing about them.
First and most important, I start believing in Menoth myself.
I think when You fight them, You can forget about any direct buffs to ARM and DEF.
They go blessed even on shoes.
So when Mati propose me take a spin with new CID I try to find something that can take his alfa.
My eyes turn to MrStryker.
Paladin of Cygnar.
I play with Mati in the past and almost all my lose was by scenario.

Thoughts before the battle :
The main plan was create something hard to kill.
Push it in to the mouth of Menoth and let him try to chew it.
I don’t want to use two FEATs (Stryker and Stormblades) at the same time.
I take cyclon because I see his potential against troops (even without Caine3) especially cavalry.

Thoughts after the battle :
First I think I chose wrong table side, because the closer impas is bigger and split my force in two. When I place my force I should give by one unit of Stormblade on each side support by jacks.
Then I think I overslept with my left flank, then try to rescue with Stryker and Ol’Rowdy.
The consequence of this was sacrifice of Avanger and Cyclon.
It end with this that I ran there and back.
Stormblade unit is great but eats lots of time , I need to practice with them.
It was hard, but good match and even loosing match with Dziekan is a pleasure.
At the end I got choice to lose by clock or as a hero.
That’s why Stryker chose to take one more Jack with him to hell.
Thanks Mati for a good game.”

A few words after game :

  • Fire of Salvation.
I’m so happy he is available for all Casters in Exe theme now.
    This Jack is just great.
I will probably use him in every Exe list.
  • Hierophant.
    Very nice addition.
He was an important piece of list.
He + Wrack made HR “7” FOC Caster.
  • Exemplar Vengers.
+1 STR and +1 ARM is great, but..
    They are missing something.
I believe, that permanent reach 2 will make them more playable.
  • Exemplar Bastions and Exemplar Bastion Seneschal.
After today’s game, I’m not happy with them.
It was very easy to shoot at them.
11/16 stats vs shooting are not very impressive.
I will test them more soon, to check how they are doing in other matchups.
